Little are you grateful

“Little are you grateful”

“Say it is He Who has created you, and endowed you with hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and hearts: Little are you grateful.”

[Al Qur’an 67:23]

Explanation

“‘Say it is He Who has created you’, means He(swt) initiated your creation after you were not even a thing worth mentioning (i.e. nothing).’ Then He(swt) says, ‘and endowed you with hearing, seeing and hearts’, meaning intellects and powers of reasoning. ‘Little are you grateful’ means how little you use these abilities that Allah has blessed you with to obey Him, to act according to His commandments, and avoid His prohibitions.”[Tafsir ibn kathir]

An amazing recitation by a blind student from Madrassa noor in South Africa. “which is it of the blessings of your Lord that ye deny!” [Al Qur’an, Surah Ar-Rahmaan]

Subhanalah, as he started reciting, tears dropped down on my face. God bless this student and grant him Janat al Firdaus inshalah for his efforts and gratitute for his `being`. Ameen.
Many people are not blind, but I believe their hearts are indeed blind. Due to the fact that they can see, they keep their hearts blind by keeping themselves away from the beauty of memorization and understanding the holy Quraan. Look at this beautiful student, he is blind, but his heart is full of Noor mashalah and I do believe that he is a very happy person mashalah. Now you tell me who is blind….even I feel ashamed of myself after seeing this video…bless him walahi from the deepest of my heart. An example is to be taken from him….I am addressing every ungrateful or `too busy` muslim, as well as myself. May god lead us to the light of Noor inshalah. Ameen. Peace and love
