On the authority of Muawiyah (May Allah be please with him) it is reported that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said,
“When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen”
[Bukhari and Muslim]
Explanation
“Knowledge and understanding of Deen (religion) here stands for the understanding of the Qur’an and Hadith, religious injunctions, and knowledge of the lawful and the unlawful. This Hadith highlights the excellence of knowledge and the fact that it is a sign of Allah’s Help to the person who possesses it and acts upon it.”
On the authority of Umm Darda (May Allah be pleased with her) it is reported that Prophet (Peace be upon him) said:
“…the dua of a muslim for his brother (in Islam) in his absence is readily accepted, and an angel is appointed to his side, whenever he makes a beneficial dua for his brother the appointed angel says “Ameen and may you also be blessed with the same”
[Muslim]
Explanation
Because of the abovementioned hadith, whenever the Companions of Rasullullah(saw) (May Allah be pleased with them all) asked Allah for something and they really wanted it, they would ask for the same thing for their brother/sister in Islam.
The similitude of one who prays the 5 daily prayers
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) it is related that he once heard the Prophet (Peace be upon him) say,
“What would you think if there were a river running by the door of the house of anyone of you, and he bathed in it 5 times a day, everyday, would any trace of dirt be left on him?” The people said:“No, there would be no trace of dirt on him.”The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said:“This is like the 5 daily prayers, through which Allah cleanses you and washes away your past sins”
On the authority of Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him and his father) it is related that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said,
“A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim. So he should not oppress him nor should he hand him over to (his satan or to his self which is inclined to evil). Whoever fulfils the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfil his needs; whoever removes the troubles of his brother, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and whoever covers up the fault of a Muslim, Allah will cover up his fault on the Day of Resurrection.”
Four things that most people believe in but their actions belie.
Shaqique Ibne Ibrahim rahmatullahi alayh says: People seem to agree with me when they say that they believe in four things, but their actions belie what they claim to believe:-
1 They say that they are slaves (bondsmen) of Allah Ta’ala, but their actions betray that they regard themselves to be freemen;
2 They say that Allah Ta’ala has taken upon Himself the responsibility to give us our sustenance, but they never rest content until they hoard enough of worldly provisions;
3 They say that akhirah (Hereafter) is preferable to this world, but they are ever engaged in amassing wealth, and are least concerned about akhirah.
4 They say that death is inevitable, but they are absorbed in worldly activities as though they were to live here forever.
(Tanbeehul Ghaafileen)
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) it is related that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said,
“The supplication of a slave continues to be granted as long as he does not supplicate for a sinful thing or for something that would cut off the ties of kinship and he does not grow impatient.”It was said:“O Messenger of Allah! What does growing impatient mean?”He (saw) said,“It is one’s saying: ‘I supplicated again and again but I do not think that my prayer will be answered.’ Then he becomes frustrated (in such circumstances) and gives up supplication altogether.”
[Muslim]
Explanation
“We learn from this Hadith that one should continue beseeching Allah without ever thinking that in spite of praying for a long time, his prayer has not been granted. One should never allow frustration to overcome in his mind. If a person’s supplication is not granted for a long time, there would be certainly some good for him in that delay the reason of which is known to Allah Alone. It is, therefore, essential that he should never cease to pray whether his prayer is granted or not. Persistence in prayer is certainly beneficial to him.”
Satellites prove the Truth and Precision of the words of Rasullulah(saw)
Wabr ibn Yuhanas al-Khozaee(ra) was a companion who Rasullulah(saw) sent as a protector over (Sana’a, in Yemen) whereupon He(saw) ordered him to build them a mosque by features He(saw) defined for him.
Wabr ibn Yuhanas Al-Khozaee (May Allah be pleased with Him) relates that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said to me,
“If you build the Mosque of Sana’a, make it to the right of a mountain called Deyn.”
[Tabarani]
Al Hafez Al-Rahzey says in his book, ‘The History of Sana’a’, the Prophet(Pbuh) ordered Wabr ibn Yuhanas Al-Ansarey when he sent him to Sana’a, to be it’s protector, saying
“Call them to iman (faith /to verify the truth), if they obey you in that then legislate the Salah, if they obey you in that, then go and build the Mosque in Bathan park, from where is found a rock in Gamdan and face it to a mountain called Deyn”
SubhanAllah, the following clip proves through Google Earth the truth and precision of the words of Rasullulah(saw) as revealed to him(saw) by Allah(swt) where Rasullulah(saw) instructed the construction of a Mosque in Yemen, and in order to determine the Qiblah (direction of Prayer) told the Sahaabi to face the Mosque to a mountain called Deyn. Truly Amazing!!!
